The Black Crowes were formed in 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia of a Southern rock, Jam, and a rock and roll group with 5-members includes, the brothers Chris and Rich Robinson[?], Johnny Colt[?], Steve Gorman[?], and including Eddie Harsch[?]. In 1989, they had a demo cassette tape before they made contact with American Recordings before they recorded their first album Shake Your Money Maker.

In 1992, they released their second album The Southern Harmony and Musical Companion with 10-songs. The rest of their albums were Amorica (the 1994 album); Three Snakes & One Charm (the 1996 album); By Your Side (the 1999 album); Lions (the 2001 album) and then Chris Robinson's first solo record New Earth Mud[?].
