Bharatiya Janata Party

The Bharatiya Janata Party (or BJP) is one of the largest political parties in India. It is the dominant component of the National Democratic Alliance which forms the present Indian government. It is currently headed by L. K. Advani[?]. The party is the political wing of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. Some people see the ideology of the BJP as Hindu-fundamentalist or even as Hindu-fascist.
