Bernardine of Siena

St. Bernardine of Siena (1380-1444) was a Franciscan missionary who traveled and preached in Italy.

He was born in Massa, Italy September 8, 1380, and died in Abruzzi May 20, 1444. He was canonized in 1450. He is the patron of advertising, communications, compulsive gambling, respiratory problems, Italy, and the diocese of San Bernardino, California.
