Benjamin Peter James Bradshaw (born August 30, 1960) is a British Labour Member of Parliament for Exeter (since May 1997), as well as a Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State[?] (the most junior rank of government minister) at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs[?] (since June 2003). He was one of the first gay MPs to be "out" at the time he was initially elected; his Conservative opponent was a "family values" campaigner who made sexuality an issue in the campaign.
