Bear Lake is a borough located in Warren County, Pennsylvania. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 193.

Geography Bear Lake is located at 41°59'34" North, 79°30'20" West (41.992823, -79.505610)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.8 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 193 people, 66 households, and 55 families residing in the borough. The population density is 106.5/km² (277.1/mi²). There are 74 housing units at an average density of 40.8/km² (106.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.52% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 66 households out of which 39.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 72.7% are married couples living together, 10.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 15.2% are non-families. 12.1% of all households are made up of individuals and 4.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.92 and the average family size is 3.18.

In the borough the population is spread out with 26.4% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 29.5% from 25 to 44, 23.3% from 45 to 64, and 15.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 103.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 100.0 males.

The median income for a household in the borough is $28,036, and the median income for a family is $28,929. Males have a median income of $24,792 versus $19,000 for females. The per capita income for the borough is $10,329. 3.3% of the population and 3.7% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 0.0% are under the age of 18 and 0.0% are 65 or older.
