BESM

BESM stands for "Bolshaja Elektronno-Schetnaja Mashina" in Russian, which can be translated as "Large Electronic-Computing Machine" or simply "Large Computer".

BESM-6 was designed in S.A.Lebedev Institute of Precise Mechanics and Computing Equipment (ITMiVT in Russian) in the 1965. This is a mainframe type computer.
