Bayreuth Festspielhaus

A dedicated house for presenting the works of Richard Wagner. It was designed by and built under the supervision of the composer and was paid for principally by the then King of Bavaria, Ludwig II.

It operates an annual festival of Wagner's operas with performances of 'The Ring'and selected other operas given on a repertory basis over the years.

It is very difficult to get tickets and they are very expensive.
