Bayesian network

A Baysian network or Baysian belief network is a directed acyclic graph of nodes representing discrete random variables and a set of arcs representing the correlation among the variables. Each node has a conditional probability table associated with it.

This network is used for modelling knowledge in medicine and decision support systems[?].
