Bayer

Bayer AG is a German chemicals- and pharmaceuticals company founded in 1863. It is headquartered in Leverkusen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.

They have invented, for example:

Bayer became part of IG Farben, a conglomerate of German chemical industries. When the allies disintegrated IG Farben due to several war crimes, the company reappeared as an individual business.
