Battle of Malplaquet

The Battle of Malplaquet was fought on September 11 1709 and resulted in a British-Austrian-Dutch victory under duke of Marlborough and Prince Eugene against the French under General Villars and General Boufflers. Also for Marlborough, this battle was a semi-defeat because the allied army had a lot of soldiers killed or wounded and it was impossible for them to go to Paris.
