Basiliscus

Flavius Basiliscus was Byzantine Emperor 475 - 476. Consul in 465, and commanded the disastrous expedition against Gaiseric in 468. Due to his mismanagement as emperor, the deposed emperor Zeno I was able to return from exile and resume the throne. Basiliscus died with his family in exile.
