Barry Sanders

Barry Sanders was a running back in the National Football League who spent his entire professional career with the Detroit Lions.

He was notorious for sometimes running the full width of the field to gain only a yard on a play then, on the next, suddenly breaking through a hole for a 60 yard gain.

Barry Sanders retired from football, having gained 15,269 yards and 109 touchdowns, the former statistic placing him behind Walter Peyton and Emmitt Smith.
