Lake Balaton is
Hungary's biggest lake, 104 m over the sea level, up to 11 m deep, 592 sq. km. High season is from June till the end of August. Tourist activities include swimming, sailing, surfing, fishing, boats, water-skiing, as well as visiting the countryside and hills, wine on the North coast and night life on the South.
