Balak

Balak was king of Moab around 1200 BC.

When the Israelites reached Moab, Balak ordered Balaam, a prophet, to curse Israel. Instead of cursing Israel, Balaam blessed Israel.

Balak died when Joshua began his conquest of Canaan
