Badlands (movie)

Badlands is a 1973 film which told a fictional story based on the real-life murder spree of Charles Starkweather[?] and his girlfriend, Caril-Ann Fugate[?], in 1958. Directed by Terrence Malick from his own script, it stars Martin Sheen, Sissy Spacek and Warren Oates[?].

The film was included in the National Film Registry.
