Back in Black is a 1980 (see 1980 in music) hard rock album by Australian band AC/DC. After the success of Highway to Hell, their previous album, AC/DC singer Bon Scott[?] died of alcohol poisoning[?]. For this, their intended and actual breakthrough album, Scott was replaced by Brian Johnson[?]. The album became a huge success in the US and elsewhere.
