Autobahn (album)

Autobahn by Kraftwerk, released 1974, features a mighty Minimoog bass sound. In fact, the band bought their own Minimoog for the production. As such a synthesizer would be as expensive as a Volkswagen in 1974, it would be thought of as an expensive piece of studio equipment, not an ordinary musical instrument.
