Audubon Park is a borough located in Camden County, New Jersey. As of the 2000 census, the borough had a total population of 1,102.

Geography Audubon Park is located at 39°53'54" North, 75°5'23" West (39.898213, -75.089628)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the borough has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.2 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 12.50% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 1,102 people, 496 households, and 302 families residing in the borough. The population density is 2,836.6/km² (7,561.7/mi²). There are 499 housing units at an average density of 1,284.4/km² (3,424.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the borough is 98.91% White, 0.36% African American, 0.09% Native American, 0.18% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.09% from other races, and 0.36% from two or more races. 0.64% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 496 households out of which 22.0% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 40.7% are married couples living together, 16.5% have a female householder with no husband present, and 39.1% are non-families. 35.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.3% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.22 and the average family size is 2.88.

In the borough the population is spread out with 21.2% under the age of 18, 4.9% from 18 to 24, 28.5% from 25 to 44, 27.0% from 45 to 64, and 18.3% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 42 years. For every 100 females there are 80.7 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 73.9 males.

The median income for a household in the borough is $34,643, and the median income for a family is $41,029. Males have a median income of $36,250 versus $25,662 for females. The per capita income for the borough is $16,926. 8.8% of the population and 9.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 9.1% are under the age of 18 and 8.0% are 65 or older.
