Asturian language

Asturian or Asturleonés (also Bable, but this is a derogatory term) is a Romance language spoken in some parts of the provinces of Asturias and León in Spain, and in the area of Miranda de Douro in Portugal (where it is co-official and officially called Mirandes). Some scholars account it as a dialect of Spanish, whereas others treat it as a separate language.
