The racial makeup of the city is 24.77% White, 62.11% African American, 0.32% Native American, 0.70% Asian, 0.07% Pacific Islander, 6.49% from other races, and 5.53% from two or more races. 15.58% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
