Artur Gavazzi

Artur Gavazzi (October 14, 1861 - March 12, 1944) was a Croatian geographer.

Gavazzi was born in a city called Split, in today's [[Croatia].

Gavazzi was the first professor for Geography at the University of Ljubljana where Anton Melik succeeded him. Gavazzi went in 1928 to the University of Zagreb[?].

He died in Zagreb, Yugoslavia (in what is today Croatia).
