Arkoe is a town located in Nodaway County, Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 58.

Geography Arkoe is located at 40°15'33" North, 94°49'39" West (40.259248, -94.827502)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.4 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.4 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 58 people, 24 households, and 13 families residing in the town. The population density is 160.0/km² (425.4/mi²). There are 24 housing units at an average density of 66.2/km² (176.0/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 96.55% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 3.45% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 24 households out of which 33.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.8% are married couples living together, 4.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 41.7% are non-families. 33.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 16.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.42 and the average family size is 3.21.

In the town the population is spread out with 27.6% under the age of 18, 5.2% from 18 to 24, 34.5% from 25 to 44, 17.2% from 45 to 64, and 15.5% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 38 years. For every 100 females there are 152.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 147.1 males.
