Ark
The term Ark, derived from arca the Latin word for "chest", and generally synonymous with "refuge", is traditionally used to refer to one of:
- Noah's Ark
- Any other similar large ship, see ark (ship)[?]
- the ark of bulrushes in which the infant Moses was said to have been laid
- The Ark of the Covenant
