Aristid Lindenmayer

Aristid Lindenmayer was a swedish biologist who lived from 1925-1989. In 1968 Lindenmayer developed a formal language that are today called L-Systems or Lindenmayer Systems. Using those systems Lindenmayer modelled the growth of plants.
