Arispe is a city located in Union County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 89.

Geography Arispe is located at 40°56'56" North, 94°13'8" West (40.949010, -94.218974)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²). 1.3 km² (0.5 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 89 people, 42 households, and 25 families residing in the city. The population density is 66.1/km² (171.6/mi²). There are 44 housing units at an average density of 32.7/km² (84.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 42 households out of which 21.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 59.5% are married couples living together, 2.4% have a female householder with no husband present, and 38.1% are non-families. 35.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 23.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.12 and the average family size is 2.77.
