Arianespace

Founded in 1980, Arianespace is responsible for the production, operation and marketing of the Ariane 4 and Ariane 5 launchers. Arianespace is currently the commercial launch services leader and holds more than 50 percent of the world market for satellites to geostationary transfer orbit (GTO). More than 130 commercial launches occurred since May 22, 1984.

The launch site is Kourou, in French Guiana.
