Argyle is a town located in Missouri. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 164.

Geography Argyle is located at 38°17'40" North, 92°1'28" West (38.294535, -92.024524)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.0 km² (0.4 mi²). None of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 164 people, 65 households, and 46 families residing in the town. The population density is 158.3/km² (409.2/mi²). There are 77 housing units at an average density of 74.3/km² (192.1/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 65 households out of which 35.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 56.9% are married couples living together, 10.8% have a female householder with no husband present, and 27.7% are non-families. 27.7% of all households are made up of individuals and 15.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.52 and the average family size is 3.09.
