Aphrodite's Child was a Greek progressive rock band formed in the late 1960s around Demis Roussos[?] and Vangelis Papathanassiou. Their most notable work is a musical adaptation of the biblical Book of Revelations, entitled 666 - The Number of the Beast (double album), which broke many taboos of the time.
