Anne of the Thousand Days

Anne of the Thousand Days was an Academy Award-winning movie in 1969, directed by Charles Jarrot[?] about the story of Henry VIII of England and Anne Boleyn. It starred Richard Burton as King Henry VIII and Genevieve Bujold[?] as Anne Boleyn. Irene Papas[?] portrays Catherine of Aragon.

The adaptation is based on a play by Maxwell Anderson[?]

It was nominated for nine Academy Awards and won the award for best costumes.
