Ann-Sofie von Otter (b. May 9, 1955) is a world famous mezzo-soprano. She was born in Stockholm, Sweden. Her debut was as Alcina in Haydn's Orlando Paladino. She favours participating in recitals and concerts. She is married with two children and lives in Sweden.
