Anibal Verón was an
Argentinan bus driver who was
shot and
killed, allegedly by the Argentinan
military, during a November
2001 protest. Verón had not received 9 months pay from his previous employer. He died at the age of 37.
Verón became known as a martyr and an Argentine workers protest organization was named after him.
