Andromeda (television)

Gene Roddenberry's Andromeda (a posthumous creation) is a TV series currently (August 2002) going into its third season. It stars Kevin Sorbo as Captain Dylan Hunt, rescued from a 300-year stasis near a black hole to find that history's greatest achievement, the Systems Commonwealth, has fallen. He and his ship, the Andromeda Ascendant, are now on their own in a new and terrifying Dark Age.

Captain Hunt assembles a raggedy crew of humans and aliens aboard the Andromeda and sets out to revive the ideals of the Commonwealth.
