Andrey Nikolaevich Kolmogorov

Andrey Nikolaevich Kolmogorov, (1903 - 1987) was a Russian mathematician who made major advances in the fields of probability theory and topology. He worked early in his career on intuitionistic logic, and Fourier series. He also worked on turbulence, and classical mechanics; and was a founder of algorithmic complexity theory.
