Andrew "Sonny" Garcia (???? - September 11, 2001), businessman. He was born in Sunnyvale,
California where he graduated from Fremont High School. Andrew attended San José State University in California and graduated in 1961. He has worked as a grocery clerk, postal carrier, air traffic controller, and then as a purchasing manager for
United Airlines where he met his wife. In 1991, Andrew and his wife started a small company, the CINCO Group.
Garcia died at 62 in the crash of United Airlines flight 93 in the September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack. He was returning home from a business trip in New Jersey. Andrew was able to contact his wife during the attack, however the connection was lost just after he was only able to say his wife's name.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy; son, Andrew Jr.; daughters, Kelly & Audrey; granddaughter, Madison; and grandson, Andrew.
