Andrea Orcagna

Andrea di Cione Arcangelo (died 1368), better known as Orcagna, was a Florentine painter, sculptor and architect. His brothers Jacopo and Nardo di Cione were also artists.

His works include the altarpiece of The Redeemer with the Madonna and Saints (1354-57) in the Strozzi Chapel, Santa Maria Novella and the tabernacle in Orsanmichele (finished 1359).
