History American International started flying in 1984. It would later be bought by auto racing[?] legend Connie Kalitta[?], and then it was renamed to its current name. Scott Kalitta[?], another race-car legend, later took on as President of the airline, when his mother stepped down. The airline operates flights from Sky Harbor International Airport in Phoenix, from Willow Run[?], and from LAX International Airport[?] in Los Angeles. Model airplane[?] wise, the airline has contracts with many model plane manufacturers.
