Amazonas

Amazonas is the largest state of Brazil, located in the northern part of the country, covering a vast area of Amazon rainforest. Amazonas has a territory covered mostly by jungle, and met an era of splendor in the late 1800s, at the highest of rubber production and exports.

It is also a name of a department within Colombia, whose capital city is Leticia.
