Alta Cerdanya

Alta Cerdanya or French Cerdanya (French Cerdagne) is an alternative name for the portion of historical Cerdanya, south of the top crest of the Pyrenees, that was ceded to the French crown by the Treaty of the Pyrenees[?] (1659).
