Alava

Álava (Basque Araba, Spanish Álava) is a province of northern Spain, in the southern part of the autonomous community of the Basque Country. It is bordered by the provinces of Burgos, La Rioja, Navarra, Guipúzcoa, and Vizcaya. Its capital is Vitoria (Basque Gasteiz).
