Demographics As of the census² of 2000, there are 1,076 people, 404 households, and 290 families residing in the town. The population density is 923.2/km² (2,365.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 91.45% White, 0.28% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 7.16% from other races, and 0.84% from two or more races. 14.68% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
