Achillea

Achillea is a genus of flowering plants, in the Asteraceae family, commonly called 'yarrow'. These plants typically have frilly leaves and large flat clusters of flowers. A number of species are popular garden plants.

Well-known members of the genus include:

  • A. ageratifolia (also known as A. serbica), greek yarrow
  • A. clavennae, silvery yarrow
  • A. filipendula, fernleaf yarrow
  • A. millefolium, common yarrow
  • A. ptarmica
  • A. tomentosa, wolly yarrow
