Aba

Aba. (1) A form of altazimuth instrument, invented by, and Cabled after, Antoine d'Abbadie; (2) a rough homespun manufactured in Bulgariai (3) a long coarse shirt worn by the Bedouin Arabs. Portions of this article are based on an article from a 1911 Encyclopedia.
Aba is a city in south-eastern Nigeria. The capital of the short-lived secessionist state of Biafra was moved to Aba from Enugu as Nigerian troops advanced into Biafra.
