ABC Powers

The ABC Powers is a nickname for the South American counties of Argentina, Brazil, and Chile. They have been referred to by this name since the beginning of the Twentieth Century.

In 1914 the ABC Powers met to intervene diplomatically to avoid a war between the United States and Mexico over the Veracruz incident.
